Scared to Walk? I can Help!

Boy:
I read that Mitch is scared of the stairs and his mom is looking for some solutions to let him overcome his fear. I have no solution for that but i DO have a solution for those who are scared to walk when they are outside. And this is a tried n tested solution.

When i was a little puppy, i was so scared to walk when i am outside. I will refuse to walk and just lay flat on the ground. No amount of pushing or encouragement will make me lift my body to walk and no treats can perform magic either. So i was like a little prince, being carried around everywhere i go.

See how cute i was! But things started to change when i put on more weight and dont look that cute anymore...hehe.

They brought me to the beach one day, carried me all the way there and when we reached the sea, they threw me in and guess what, i swam quickly to the shore and walk. Yes. you heard me right! I started to walk! The humans kept on laughing and laughing at me. How dare they make fun of me! But i learnt one thing, there are other more scawy things than walking.

I am so glad that they thought of that and tried the idea. I am a handsome and brave boy now!

Boy

So do you think if we push Mitch down the stairs it will help him out?

Poor Boy, I like the idea of you being a little prince and being carried everywhere. I love being carried about by my human slaves. J x

I think by bring our pups to the stairs, weekly if not daily and let them get a sense of how to walk up and down. Over time they will get more comfortable with it and run up and down without a problem. It work for me and Pearly runs down the stairs ahead of me sometimes.
